Permission to Reflect and Feel, Together!
I am proud to be facilitating four sessions with The No Marking Society during the month of July! These sessions are a part of a larger curriculum being offered by some incredible artists and coaches. I am also proud to share that I have intentionally made two of my sessions exclusively open to BIPOC folks only. Take a look at The No Marking website here to see the full class list and to register!
Permission to Reflect and Feel, Together!
Session Description:
Join Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, Registered Drama Therapist and Life Coach Sara Kliger, as she provides a space for community engagement. These sessions are meant to provide opportunities for self-reflection as well as human connection. Coming together to share common experiences as well as differences can be extremely powerful and healing. This can be a space to see the strengths and needs within our individual selves as well as within the community at large. Some of the themes explored are, "What am I struggling with? What is bringing me joy? What do I need? Why do I feel stuck? What does my future hold? How can I move forward?" Join this intimate group in order to feel more connected to your community and to feel more grounded as you navigate through all of the challenges that we are facing. **It is recommended to bring paper and a writing utensil to these sessions.
Dates and Times:
Thursday, July 9th at Noon - BIPOC ONLY
Thursday, July 16th at Noon - OPEN TO ALL
Thursday, July 23rd at Noon - BIPOC ONLY
Thursday, July 30th at Noon - OPEN TO ALL
These sessions are completely FREE
Weekly Virtual Support Group Every Other Thursday Evening
We wanted to use this as an opportunity to support one another in order to combat anxiety and feelings of loneliness as more and more people are being forced to live in isolation.
I am so proud of this space that we've created.
Each week has been very different. We've laughed, we've cried, we've listened to music, we've listened to stories, we've written poetry, we've meditated, we've breathed together, we've sat in our feelings, and most importantly, we've supported each other. This is a judgement-free space where all are welcome.
To sign up, please fill out this form. Zoom links will be shared to participants on Thursday morning.
Please note that we have transitioned to holding these groups to every other week.
See you soon!
